Yahoo has a plugin that you can download onto your computer (Windows computers only) in order to do a "makeover" of a friend's avatar and send it to them. I haven't had a chance to test this myself (I'm using a Mac, so I can't use the plugin), so you all will have to let me know if it works well. And if you're feeling really creative, you can contribute your made-over image to the avatar contest that's running now. A winner hasn't been chosen yet, so there's still a little time left.
